1. Kuwait Residence permit holders who overstayed (more than 6 months) outside
Kuwait.
For Article 20 residence holders (Domestic Worker):
Effective from May 31, 2022: Article 20 residence holders
who stayed more than 06
months outside Kuwait are not permitted to enter the State of Kuwait.
Example: An article 20 residence permit holder exited Kuwait on Dec 01, 2021 travelling on
June 01,
2022: are not permitted to enter the State of Kuwait as they have stayed more than 6
months out of Kuwait.

2. Passengers shall travel/enter to the State of Kuwait by presenting their
valid
digital civil ID using the Kuwait Mobile ID App.

3. GCC Nationals do not require a visa to enter the State of Kuwait.

4. GCC Nationals can enter the State of Kuwait using their valid smart
identity card
(Valid Civil ID).

5. GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries are; United Arab Emirates, Kingdom
of
Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar and State of Kuwait.
These requirements are subject to change in short notice, kindly check with the respective Country
travelling
to, for the latest requirements.
Allowed Passenger Category

1. Kuwaiti national.

2. Travelers with valid entry visa/residence/E-Visa.

3. GCC Nationals with valid passports and their domestic workers travelling
with GCC
nationals can avail VOA (Visa on Arrival) on the clause accompanied by sponsor.

4. US military personnel traveling with Military ID card.

5. Visa on arrival facility has been reinitiated at Kuwait International
Airport.

Requirements
With reference to the DGCA Circular number 06/2022, State of Kuwait removed all
COVID-19 Pandemic related measures.
Effective from May 01, 2022 00:01 Kuwait Local Time: All health travel procedures
and requirements related to the Corona virus pandemic will be cancelled. Normal
procedures which were applied prior to the pandemic will be implemented. Travelers
arriving into Kuwait after the effective date/time are NO longer required to submit
pre-departure PCR test or arrival test, no quarantine requirements. This applies to all
travelers whether they are vaccinated or not.
